A Note on Hurt and Healing This book examines the complexities of "leaving and finding" religious communities. Because of this, our discussion will touch on spiritual trauma and religious hurt. We want to especially welcome those who may be carrying anger, grief, or deep frustration toward the church and religion. This is a space where you don’t have to "tidy up" your experience to be heard and we aim to be mindful of everyone’s unique journey as we explore these topics together.
